Wednesday night I went over to Ben's to help with the all-nighter he pulls before his fashion show. I was very helpful with my skills at sewing professional-quality seams n' such. Just kidding, I can barely sew a button. I'm playing pretend. Really, I helped by lending moral support and hanging up clothes that models left rumpled on the floor.
I forgot to bring my camera so Patrick kindly lent me these outtakes from epiclylaterd.com.

Who is that stunning teenage goth supermodel? Her "blue steel" is impeccable.
This crystal rosary is so heavy, it probably weighs more than the model who had to drag it down the runway.
Compare and contrast!
It was hard trying to get good pix of the show, but gettyimages.com has lots of good ones if you wanna see, which you should because Ben's stuff is beautiful. (For some reason, it's not letting me link to the pictures, but
this link from New York magazine seems to work.)
Gang sitch at the show, which was in some kind of carpet store or something.
This was the most beautiful little 16 year-old waif-boy I've ever seen.
Seriously.
Ur, why is Gavin dressed up like a hippie?
(That's a high school joke. The kids in my lame high school were so clueless that when I would wear Misfits and Sex Pistols t-shirts and stupid punk shit, they would call me a hippie!)
There was this one boy in high heels who could barely walk in them. He was teetering and pitching forward so bad, it was so cute and hilarious. He looked just like me when I try to wear heels!
After the show, I went plant shopping with Ryan. Along the way we passed this truck which for some reason Ryan thought was very pretty.
Posing with funny plants.
What a size queen!
It was pretty in there and it smelled like summer camp...
Eyeing the poppies.
That night... Bill and Lez at Ben's afterparty at the Dark Room.
Jesse illustrating his slick moves on Alexxx. Works every time.
I have this picture of Marc and Patrick where they look so pouty, I made them smile big for a little compare and contrast. (I love compare and contrast today!) Which do you prefer?
Sweeney was chillin.
It's exciting when you finally meet people you only know through My Space. Brendan makes awesome drawings and clothes and upon meeting him, he immediately showed me pictures of him riding a bicycle naked. Instant friend.
How many nights have I ended by eating crap at Hot Bagels at 4am?
Too many to count...
A diabetic pretending to eat a cookie. Pure comedy gold!
SONG OF THE DAY:
"Dear God" by XTC
Ben played this song during his show so you should listen to it while looking through the pictures of his show to get the full experience.
I think this is the longest entry I've ever done. Time well spent! (right).
