Ryan took me to Baltimore to be his assistant to do a shoot with one of my total all-time heroes. A legendary filmmaker named John. Who lives in Baltimore. Who oh who could it be?
Needless to say, I was fucking ecstatic.
He was so insanely nice and entertaining. He told us funny stories non-stop and he gave us a tour of his amazing house which has more cool stuff in it than any other house I have ever seen in my life and then he drove us around to all his favorite scary neighborhoods and the whole time he just kept saying the funniest shit and I totally felt like a kid with cancer that gets to go to Disneyland before they die.
And Baltimore is pretty awesomely weird too.
Then we were off to see America! (ha ha, the picture was taken in front of his house so I can't show it) Anyway, best day ever. Thanks Ryan! (Sorry I almost killed us on the NJ Turnpike.)
