Soundtrack: [I am SO sick of all my music. I'm in a music rut! I'm thinking of trying to get more
into Bruce Springsteen now. After all, "Blinded By The Light" is pretty much the greatest song
ever written. Although really, Manfred Mann are the ones who made that song come alive,
what with their genius additions of synth and rainbow suspenders... Do Manfred Mann have any
other good songs? Who wants to make me a mixtape?]
Speaking of musical ruts, Me and Lesley DJed at the fashion show after-party for Karen Walker.
(Number of fashion shows attended by me this season: Zilcho!) We played "Heartbeat" by the Knife
and "Smile" by Lily Allen and sing-along 90s rap like "Passing Me By" and the crowd went bonkers.
We got so many compliments it. People who DJ obscure music are fools!
These guys kept requesting reggaeton.
Somehow, afterwards, we ended up at a Lady Sovereign show! I have no idea how that happened.
It was one of those below-zero nights so when someone has a car you just get in it, you don't ask
questions. But hey, she's pretty cute, the little pipsqueak.
